10-year-old grows hair out for 2 years to donate to people with cancer

Ten-year-old Thomas Moore spent the past two hairs growing a full head of hair.

But it wasn’t for him — he wanted to help others, NBC Washington reported.

He started growing out his hair when he saw a Facebook video a 5-year-old girl who was losing her hair due to chemotherapy.

The then-7-year-old wanted to do something.

After about two years of growing, his hair reached his tailbone, his mom, Angilea Pulos, told NBC Washington.

“He doesn’t even try, and it just grows,” she said. “I think that it’s really fantastic that he felt like he could do something so selfless to help someone else.”

When his hair was cut, he donated enough to make three wigs.

Thomas said though he lost his signature look, he’s proud of the good he did.
