Former Selmer Police Lieutenant admits to viewing child pornography

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A former Selmer Police Lieutenant has entered a guilty plea for accessing child pornography

According to the Department of Justice, Tony Miller, 36, used a website set up for the purpose of sharing, viewing, and commenting on illicit photos and videos.

Miller allegedly was a user of the site from February to March 2015.

At the time, he was a lieutenant with the Selmer Police Department.

Images of minor children engaging in sexual activity with adults were featured on the website. Some of the minors were under 12 years of age.

Some of the minors were under 12 years of age.

He was charged with one count of receipt of child pornography and two counts of access with intent to view child pornography.

Prosecutors say Miller admitted he used the internet and work-issued devices to access the website.

Miller is scheduled to be sentenced on Friday, December 16th.

He faces up to 20 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000
