Little boy with cancer tumor becomes ‘boss’ for the day at John Deere
BREWSTER, Minn. — A 4-year-old had his wish come true this week, and it’s all thanks to John Deere.
Aiden Remme and his family have been in and out of the hospital for almost a year after doctors had discovered he had a brain tumor.
The chemotherapy has not done as well as doctors would have hoped.
“We had received some not so good news a few weeks ago, and one of his big things he was worried about was that he wasn’t going to be able to combine with his papa. He loves farming,” his mom Tracy told KWWL.
That’s when John Deere stepped in.
According to the news station, the company heard about Aiden and knew they wanted to do something to put a smile on his face.
They invited the little guy and his family to their headquarters in Waterloo so he could be the “boss” of the company for the day.
“They gave him a special hat that said, “the boss” and a little ID that said his name on it. He was pretty excited,” Tracy explained.
It’s a day they won’t soon forget.
