Police: Suspects caught with stolen Waffle House cash register
SEARCY, Ark. — Four young men are behind bars after allegedly stealing a cash register and then leading multiple law enforcement agencies on a high-speed chase.
It all happened early Tuesday morning when officers were called to a Waffle House in Searcy.
After stealing the register, employees said the four suspects – Terrence Robinson, 19, Keylan Comic, 18, Chandler Bragg, 19, and Deshaun Morton, 18, – jumped into a car and took off.
A White County Sheriff’s Deputy spotted the vehicle and began in pursuit.
The Searcy Police Department and the Austin Police Department were also involved in the chase.
Two weapons and two cash registers were found inside the car when they were finally taken into custody.
No one was injured during the incident incide the Waffle House.
THV11 reported the arrest comes just days after multiple Waffle Houses reported robberies in which the cash register was stolen.
