Juvenile charged with arson after fire at vacant apartment building
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A juvenile was arrested and charged with arson after a fire Saturday at a vacant apartment building in the 3400 block of West Briarpark Loop, Memphis Fire said.
Firefighters arrived to the scene and said they saw fire coming from the two-story apartment building.
They swiftly brought the fire under control.
No one was injured, according to Memphis Fire.
Six apartments in the building suffered damage, according to Memphis Fire.
Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set and arrested the juvenile suspect.
