North Dakota couple has 3rd baby born on same date for 3rd year in a row

DICKINSON, N.D. — Good things come in threes for the Stevenson family.

Seth and Lauren Stevenson were married in 2013 after a three-day engagement and after knowing each other for three months. Now they have three kids, The Dickinson Press reports.

New baby boy Henry came into this world Sept. 1, 2016.

But he’s not the only one in the family to call that day his own. He’ll celebrate his birthday alongside his two older siblings: brother Axel, born Sept. 1, 2014, and sister Tommie, born Sept. 1, 2015.

“I can’t believe it’s actually the same,” Lauren told The Dickinson Press.

She said Henry’s due date was actually Sept. 4 — but he arrived three days early to share the special day with his brother and sister.

Lauren said all three kids were natural births.

The family is looking forward to having a big party next year to celebrate all their births. So far, the kids have only spent their birthdays at the hospital, either being born or welcoming a new sibling — though that is quite the birthday present.

“We’re just going to have one big party, one big bounce house, give each of them a separate cake and their own presents,” Lauren said.

But will these plans be derailed by a fourth Sept. 1 birth? Lauren says that’s not in the cards, and three is good for now.

“I plan on having another one,” she said. “I think we’re going to give ourselves a little of a break so we can watch our kids grow for a few years, and then maybe go from there.”
