Former MSU employee arrested for embezzlement
STARKVILLE, Miss. — A former Mississippi State employee has been arrested for embezzling from the school.
Susan Holder, 63, surrendered to authorities.
Prosecutors say Holder charged travel expenses on her personal credit card, which was paid by a private Foundation, and then submitted reimbursement to MSU for the same expenses.
Between September 2007 and October 2011, prosecutors say Holder duplicated travel expenses of $35,496.98.
Holder was employed by MSU from 1991 until she was fired on November 30, 2011.
