Suspect arrested, charged with 2015 shooting
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Nearly a year after the crime, police have made an arrest in an East Memphis shooting.
35-year-old Raymond Lambert is facing several charges — including attempted first degree murder and reckless endangerment — for a shooting on Vanuys Road back on September 17, 2015.
According to the affidavit, police say Lambert got into an argument with a woman over an accident that happened back in 2012.
Police say Lambert fired several shots at the woman — then turned and shot a man twice.
The victim was taken to the hospital but has recovered.
Lambert is being held on $150,000 bond.
He’s scheduled to be in court on Wednesday.
