MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Some of the brightest teens in Shelby County battled it out with robots at East High on Saturday.
Teams from across the district showed off their creations in the “First Tech Challenge.”
All of the robots were student built and were put to the test in a series of timed challenges.
Students here in Shelby County have done so well in the past, they have even competed in national robotics competitions.
WREG was told the program aims to inspire students to become future engineers.
