Man charged with second-degree murder after shooting on Clearbrook

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police have identified the man who was shot in the 3500 block of Clearbrook Monday night.

Around 9 p.m., officers received a call in the area saying 24-year-old Reginald Tyler was shot and lying in the street.

Tyler was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police have now charged 31-year-old Tavaris Howard with second-degree murder and employment of a firearm in the commission of a violent felony.
