ATLANTA, GA–18th ranked Ole Miss took longer than it wanted to show it can play well this year.  The Rebels overcame a sluggish first half to beat Boise State, 35-13, on Thursday in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game.

Ole Miss senior quarterback Bo Wallace overcame three first half interceptions to throw three second half touchdown passes.  That helped the Rebels breakaway from a 7-3 halftime lead.  Junior receiver Cody Core caught two of Wallace’s four TD tosses.  Laquon Treadwell and Quincy Adeboyejo caught the others.  Memphian Mark Dodson, a former Whitehaven High standout, scored Ole Miss’ final touchdown of the night.
