MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Marshall County inmate who stole a squad car Friday morning has been found in Memphis.

Jimmy Rook, who is classified as a trustee, was discovered missing at about 8 a.m. after he didn’t report to his work detail.

He and the stolen car were found on Leatherwood in East Memphis at about 6:15 p.m.

Rook is incarcerated for theft.
