Car goes into lake, driver found at nearby house

DESOTO COUNTY, Miss. — Authorities found the person who drove a car into Woodland Lake in a nearby house.

The privately-owned lake is about 12 miles west of Hernando.

Deputies searched the area, but when they found no sign of the driver, a dive team was called.

Charges are expected to be filed against the driver.
