CANTON, Ohio– It is a class with some very familiar names, names like Michael Strahan, Derrick Brooks, Andre Reed and Ray Guy.

But back in the day, and those days being the 1970’s, it was Bartlett’s own Claude Humphrey that was one of those big names and one of the best players in all of football.

Saturday night in Canton, Ohio, Humphrey took his rightful place amongst the best players of all time, becoming the first Memphian ever inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

A 5-time finalist for the Hall, Humphrey finally got his place in Canton in his 28th year of eligibility.
