MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis police are looking for the person who hit a motorcyclist in Whitehaven early Monday morning.

The motorcycle rider was thrown from his bike after someone pulled in front of him at the corner of Huckleberry and Old Hickory.

He was banged up, but survived the crash and just wants to find the person responsible.

"My head did hit the concrete. The helmet saved me, but the fact that the guy just pulled off without at least checking on me," he said.

He said two women who were with the driver did want to help and got out of the car before the driver took off.

"They came running down and said, 'You need to go to the hospital,.' They tried to check on me," the motorcyclist said.

He says another driver stopped and gave him a ride home, and then friend got him to the hospital.

He doesn't know what happened to the women who were with the driver who hit him.

He believes the car that hit him was a white, four-door sedan, and says there should be damage behind the driver's side door.

Ok..why wud we need crimestoppers here 2 women that must know who they were riding with….guess they saw nothing and didnt know him…how typical

If you read the article, the victim obviously did not wait for the police to arrive to question the women, thus he does not know the identity or names of said women. They are not available for questioning because we don’t know who they are…

What makes you think you’re so intelligent to point out what you believe to be an obvious fact like the police just blindly missed it?

The driver was probably drinking or did not have insurance or both so he had to get away fast. He let the girls off to check on the biker, then they got away fast too.
