MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The Dog Days of Summer Pup Pool Party is being held Saturday to raise money for  Mid-South Spay and Neuter Services.

Dogs can splash around in puppy pools, lick ice sculptures, slurp down "pup"-sicles and more.

The event is free, but donations will be accepted.

Rosie, a 4-month-old Pomeranian Mix will be there and up for adoption.

She's bubbly, friendly and fun.

Rosie is up for adoption through Real Good Dog Rescue for $150, which includes spaying and microchipping.

You can call 901-276-7751 for more information.

She'd do great in a home with other dogs and kids.

The pool party is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Barking Lot Dog Park Downtown at Main and Jefferson.
