Two indicted in motel murder
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two men have been indicted in the murder of a woman at a Memphis motel.
Firdous Malawi, 19, was found shot to death at the Super 8 Motel at 6015 Macon Cove December 8, 2013.
Indicted were Joshua Trenell, 23, and George Bady, 19.
According to District Attorney Amy Weirich, surveillance video showed the two men entering room 225 where the woman’s body later was found and then leaving the room together.
The video showed no one else entering or leaving the room up until the time Malawi’s body was found.
