One injured in North Memphis drive-by shooting
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One person is recovering after being hit during a drive-by shooting in North Memphis early Monday morning.
Just before 3 a.m., police were called to the 2300 block of Vollintine Avenue near Biggs Street.
Neighbors say they heard around 30 shots fired into a house, then saw two cars in front of that house burst into flames.
Police say the shooting victim was hit in the leg and taken to the Regional Medical Center.
So far, police haven’t identified any suspects.
