comcast scholarships

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Some Mid-South students were honored for their work in and out of the classroom.

Thirty-one local students have been selected to receive scholarships from Comcast.

Each student is being awarded a $1,000 scholarship for academic achievement and their work in the community.

Comcast honored the students during a ceremony at the Pink Palace.

Since 2006, Comcast has presented local students with more than $280,000 in scholarships.

Thanks to Comcast and these students for contributing to our community. Highlight their work and help others to become active in our community.

It’s great to see Comcast include minorities in their scholarship program. Memphis needs more positive stories like this and less of the racist venom spewed by Henri Brooks. Well done Comcast!
