MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Amazon plans to fight the Federal Trade Commission over a request the online retailer change its policy on in-app purchases.

The FTC says children have made millions of dollars worth of unauthorized purchases on Amazon tablets.

Amazon says it has already refunded money to parents who complained and has implemented strong parental controls.

Meanwhile, Apple has agreed to provide full refunds to customers, to the tune of over 32 million dollars, over an FTC complaint over the exact same thing.
