14-year-old boxing phenom is from DeSoto County

MEMPHIS, Tenn. --  Kuiana Butler is fighting for a future spot on team USA female boxing.

Kuiana is just 14, but already generating some Olympic buzz.

The boxing phenom just won the United States National Championship and will fight in the World Championship Tournament at the end of this month.

Kuiana is in the 9th grade at DeSoto Central High School, where she also throws Shotput.

She's under the tutelage of Brian Young of Prize Fight Boxing.
