MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — A Madison County correctional officer has been charged with insurance fraud and theft of property.

Saundra Bundy reported on May 9 that she was injured while working, but an investigation revealed she had lied.

The 47-year-old, who is being held without bond, will be in court July 7.

She has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of the indictment.

Bundy has been with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office since August 25, 2008.

Suspended WITHOUT pay — as we should do with corrupt cops and jailers in Memphis.

Held WITHOUT bond — even better, though there has to be a reason for that..
