SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — Dwayne Moore, the stepson of a Ridgeway coach found dead in his Cordova home, has been found guilty of second degree murder.

Jimmy McClain was killed in February 2013. He was one of the coaches of the boy’s basketball team at Ridgeway High.

When he didn’t show up to work at Ridgeway for days and didn’t call, deputies went to his home in the 7600 block of Cordova Country Club Drive and found him dead.

There were no signs of forced entry.

McClain was shot several times, and Moore reportedly attended the funeral for McClain.

The sheriff’s department later received a photo of Moore holding a rifle. They then used the photo’s GPS information to find Moore.

But he didn’t do it. He was just eating his skittles. He’s an honor student . Ppl are picking on him….

Trayvon and this murderer are two different people. So why are you comparing them? Are you trying to say that black people should kill you because you people are rapists, mass murderers, child molesters and serial killers? Because that’s what you appear to be insinuating. Are you REALLY as stupid as you sound?

This is the culmination of a tragic event for all who knew the coach. So glad to see reasonable people respecting Coach McClain’s untimely passing and the loss being suffered, even now.
