Memphis Grizzlies player accused of abusing wife

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A Memphis Grizzlies player is accused of abusing his wife and has bonded out of jail.

Police say James Johnson hit and choked his wife after having an altercation with her earlier Saturday morning on Beale Street.

He is also accused of punching a hole through a door and grabbing their baby.

He's been charged with domestic assault and bodily harm.
