Crane Leads at FESJC as Play is Suspended Again

Memphis, TN– The third round of the FESJC was suspended at 6:49 p.m Saturday night and at 7:13 p.m, play was called for the day with Ben Crane holding a 4-shot lead thru 7 holes of his third round.

Troy Merritt is 9-under while Knoxville’s own Peter Malnati is another stroke back at minus-8.

Phil Mickelson played 9 holes in his third round Saturday and carded 9 pars to remain 5-under and 8 shots off the lead.

Play will resume at 7 a.m. on Sunday with Crane seeking to go wire to wire for his first victory since The McGladrey Classic in 2011. His best finish this season is a T9.
