One wanted, another in custody for shooting up house to silence murder witnesses
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One man is wanted and another is in custody for shooting up a house Monday morning to silence two murder witnesses inside.
Seven adults were inside the house, located in the 7100 block of Falls Hollow Cove, when 43 shots were fired.
No one was injured, although several cars were hit, including one parked two streets away.
Nineteen-year-old Calvin McMickens was arrested for criminal attempt to wit first-degree murder.
A warrant for the same charge has been issued for 20-year-old Elvin Dorsey, who is 5’6″ and weighs 155 lbs.
McMickens and Cordney Smith are charged with first-degree murder in the 2013 death of Keishawn White.
White was gunned down in the parking lot of a gas station at Brooks and Millbranch last year.
Smith and McMickens are still waiting to go on trial.
