MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three men were arrested after robbing a gas station late Tuesday night.

Two masked gunmen entered a gas station in the 2500 block of Kirby Whitten and forced an employee to the ground.

Officers responding to the robbery call checked a nearby apartment complex, Country Side North Apartments, and saw a red Pontiac Prix.

They both ran and were later taken into custody. The man who drove away, 20-year-old Cedric Logan, was found with the car in the 7100 block of Rose Trail.
Maxwell and Logan are charged with aggravated robbery.Hooker is charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated assault.

The officer who shot at Hooker and Maxwell has been relieved of duty pending an investigation.
