Juvenile injured in Parkway Village shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are investigating an overnight shooting that sent a juvenile to the hospital.

The shooting happened around midnight in the 3400 block of Dungreen St. near Knight Rd. and Winchester.

Police say the victim was taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, but officers didn’t provide any further details.

    The Mall of Memphis opened in the early 80’s……..it’s been a downward spiral for Parkway Village since then. It’s sad to see “urban culture” destroy what was once a blue collar neighborhood.

      The Hickory Ridge Mall has lost ALL of it’s anchor stores. Sears was the last one to leave. Incredible Pizza moved into the old Goldsmith’s building on the end but closed due to poor sales.
      Unless you are into Ebony fashions, hair weaves, cheap wigs, nail salons, and cheap kiosk avoid this high crime area
