MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- You've likely seen pottery made before but we found one potter who uses some kitchen techniques in his pottery.

David Johnson joined us to give us some insight into his skill.

The Memphis Potters’ Guild Annual Spring Show & Sale is coming up Friday 5/30 -- Sunday 6/1.

The event is being held at the Memphis Botanic Garden at 750 Cherry Road.


The show features the work of the best ceramic Artists in the Mid-South: locally made table-ware, hand-thrown pottery, hand-modeled sculpture; plus, jewelry, and more.

You can meet artists working in porcelain, stoneware, earthenware, raku, and other amazing ceramic techniques. Find unique handcrafted works representing the highest standards of the ceramicists’ art: perfect for gifts or collecting.

HOURS: Friday, May 30, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm; Saturday, May 31, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm; Sunday, June 1, 11:00 am - 5:00 pm; Admission is free.
