Three injured in two overnight shootings

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three people are recovering after being injured in a series of shootings early Friday morning in two Memphis neighborhoods.

Police say one person was shot around 12:15 a.m. at the Macon Manor Apartments on Macon Rd. near Berclair Rd.

Police are looking for two suspects who were seen leaving the area in a burgundy or red Chevrolet S10 pickup truck.

The second shooting happened just before 1 a.m. in the 6300 block of Dante Ave. in Raleigh.

Police say someone fired shots into a vehicle.

One person was shot and another person was injured by flying glass.

Police haven’t identified any suspects in that case.
