(Memphis) The Memphis Grizzlies have confirmed the departure of two management team members.
CEO Jason Levien and Assistant General Manager Stu Lash are both out.
Levien was a major part of the deal when Robert Pera bought the team in 2012 from then owner Michael Heisley.
“Our franchise has made tremendous strides over the last few seasons and we thank Jason for his hard work and dedication and wish him nothing but success in his future endeavors,” Pera said in a written release.
Grizzlies General Manager Chris Wallace will take over basketball operations of the team for the time being.
Chief Operating Officer Jason Wexler will watch over business operations for the team.
