Two Dogs Killed in House Fire

(Shelby County) Two dogs were killed in a house fire early this morning.

The fire started around 4:15 a.m. at a house on Showboat Ln. which is located just north of Shelby Farms in an unincorporated area of Shelby County.

One person inside the home escaped the fire but was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. Firefighters found the two dogs inside the house.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

    That’s wreg for ya. Also why post this story? People don’t need to know that they didn’t save the two dogs. This is really sad. Black on black crime is a given, it’s expected. Have to kill of some of the heard.

    Thankfully the owner escaped but sorry the two dogs weren’t saved. Maybe there just wasn’t enough time due to the fire and smoke. I need to invest in the masks for dogs in event mine incur smoke inhalation. RIP doggies.
