(Memphis) A home invasion led to a nearly eight-hour standoff in one Hickory Hill neighborhood Friday morning.

Police say six people were inside a home on Golden Park Drive when three or four armed men broke inside just after midnight.

The victims were able to lock themselves in an upstairs bedroom and call 911.

When officers got there a short time later, they were able to catch two men seen running from the home and rescue the people inside.

For a time, they thought there might be a third suspect still inside the home, but that turned out not to be the case.

Police say they are still looking for one or two suspects.

So far, no charges have been filed against the men arrested.

Neighbors say there have been a number of vehicle and home break-ins in the area recently.
