Man Shoots Robbery Suspect

(Memphis) A man shot a robbery suspect Thursday at about 8 p.m..

The man told police he was walking near Central and Fenwick when the suspect hit him from behind, knocking him to the ground.

He said the suspect stood over him with an unknown object and demanded his property.

The man, who has a handgun permit, then shot the suspect.

The suspect was taken to Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

No charges have been filed, and the investigation is ongoing.

    hahaha LOVE IT!!! do punks think somebody is gonna go for an evening walk in this town without being strapped up? he should have been applying for jobs instead of preying on people he thinks are easy targets. i bet the guy who shot him anticipates crossing a lowlifes every second he is out there exercising, SCORE ONE FOR THE GOOD GUYS!!!!

        Life is not a video game!!! This must have really hurt this man to have to shoot someone and killed him. Even though, he had to protect himself which is his right.

    I’m not going to celebrate anyone’s death but maybe he shouldn’t have been out attacking innocent people, he won’t be any longer for sure. Sometimes you get exactly what you ask for…
