Freeze Warning Wednesday Morning


(WREG-TV) The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning for the entire News Channel 3 viewing area.

The warning is active from 4 a.m. until 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The low is Memphis is expected to hover just above freezing.

But don’t worry, the warm weather will make a quick return.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and slightly warmer with a high of 63 and southeast wind at 10 mph.

Wednesday night skies will be partly cloudy with a low near 45.

Thursday, partly cloudy skies continue with temperatures near normal for mid April with a high of 70.

Expect a slight chance of rain Thursday night into Friday with a low of 54.

It will be mostly cloudy Friday with a few scattered showers and a high of 71.

Area farmers will be keeping a close eye on temperatures tonight. 

Peach blossoms in Arkansas are at their most fragile stage of growth.
