Spurs Hammer Grizzlies

San Antonio, TX– Despite losing All-Star Tony Parker to back spasms in the first quarter, the San Antonio Spurs held the Grizzlies to just 10 points on 5-of-22 shooting in that opening quarter and cruised to an 8th straight win over the Grizz, 112-92.

Kawhi Leonard matched his career high with 26 points and Manu Ginobli added 26 in a loss that damaged the Grizzlies playoff hopes.

James Johnson tied his season high with 20 points while Mike Conley chipped in 18 but the Grizzlies 2 Bigs, Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph, were held to a combined 14 points on 6 of 16 shooting.
