Well That’s A Sticky Wicket: Honey On A Highway
(City of Industry, CA) More than a 42,000 pounds of honey created made a slow commute just outside Los Angeles.
A big rig jackknifed on the 605 closing four lanes of an already congested freeway.
There was a mile long backup of cars.
Highway workers, a tow truck crew and a hazardous materials crew helped to clear the mess, which also included diesel fuel.
The freeway opened after about three hours.
