(Memphis) A man is facing charges after police say he pretended to be a police officer.

Stephen Chitman is facing criminal impersonation charges.

Reports say Chitman flashed a silver badge and white lights at a couple because he was upset with the way they were driving.

The victims say he approached their vehicle at a stop light and even told them he was an off-duty officer.

Chitman was later arrested and has since be released from jail.
