(Kuala Lumpur) Malaysia’s Prime Minister says all evidence indicates Malaysian Flight 370 crashed in the Indian Ocean.
Though no debris has been found, Prime Minister Najib Razak said it is believed the plane is there and there are no survivors.
There were 239 people on the plane which has been missing for two weeks.
Flight 370 disappeared while en route from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to Beijing, setting off a multinational search.
A relative of a missing passenger briefed by the airline in Beijing said, “They have told us all lives are lost.”
The ocean depth in the search area ranges between 3,770 feet and 23,000 feet, and the U.S. Pacific Command said it was sending a black box locator.
The search was given added momentum when a French satellite detected potential debris on Sunday, after Australia and China earlier released satellite images identifying suspect objects.
