Hotel To Be Built On Site Of Old Greyhound Bus Station In Downtown Memphis

(Memphis) A Hilton Garden Inn will be built downtown and is expected to open in May 2016.

The 140-room hotel will be built at 235 Union Avenue, where the old Greyhound bus station was located.

“We’re thrilled about the signing of a Hilton Garden Inn hotel in the heart of Memphis, home to our Hilton Worldwide Memphis Commercial Services Center and Hilton Garden Inn brand,” said Adrian Kurre, global head, Hilton Garden Inn.

“By working with Turkey Creek Hospitality, we will bring our brand of upscale, yet affordable hotels to travelers experiencing the musical flavor and energy of The Bluff City,” Kurre added.

The hotel will have an indoor pool, 3,000 square feet of meeting space, a health club, and more.

Turkey Creek Hospitality will own and operate the hotel.
