(WREG-TV) Graco Children’s Products added more than 403,000 car seats to last month’s recall of 3.7 million seats.

Regulators say the release button on the seats could get stuck, so the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration wanted Graco to recall an additional 1.8 million seats.

Some parents say they had to actually cut the harness to get their children out.

Although Graco added 403,000 more child seats to the recall, the company said there was no need to also add the infant seats.

Graco said in a letter to the NHTSA that if the buckle on the infant seat didn’t release during an emergency, parents could remove the entire seat instead.

The seats added to the recall are from 2006 through 2014:
