Job Fair Today: 21 Companies Looking To Hire Teens, Young Adults

(Memphis) The Memphis Police Department is reaching out to area youth in need of a job.

Officers with the community outreach program are hosting a job fair from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Ed Rice Community Center Tuesday.

Twenty-one companies are looking to hire young adults that are between ages 16 and 24 years old.

    I think this is a real nice thing MPD is doing one it helps kids to have a better out look of cops. The second is it help kids fine work and get off the streets. I have been saying they need jobs for a long time and now to see it make me very happy.
