Escaped Murderer May Be Headed To Tennessee
(Ionia, MI) A man serving life behind bars for murder in the deaths of four people escaped prison and may be headed to Nashville.
Michael David Elliot escaped from a prison in Michigan Sunday and kidnapped a woman using either a knife or a box cutter.
Elliot was serving a life term for killing four people in 1993.
Prison guards say he likely escaped through a hole in the fence.
Elliot, and a woman he kidnapped, drove to Middlebury, Indiana where she escaped when they stopped for gas.
Elliot is still on the loose.
