What this “forecast” translates into is that there may be some wintry precip north of the viewing area but probably a sprinkle of rain here.

It seems that the weather here is so boring that Austen has to invent “possible” weather scenario’s for the local area.

It is “possible” that a meteor may hit my house tonight, but is it a news worthy possibility?

Tabloid journalism 101 at its best.

Like a qualified Meteorologist, Austen and others including the National Weather Service give you the various scenarios so you are informed. As we saw in Atlanta, things change fast.

Austin is always crying wolf! ant dark cloud near us he goes in too panic mode predicting the Apocalypse, plagues and pestilence so he can get more airtime,i cant stand how arrogant he comes across

I can’t even understand your post because it’s so grammatically incorrect. Correct it all so Austen can know that you are trying miserably to insult him.

I would rather prepare for the worse, and be ready, than not be ready, and be up the creek without a paddle. Channel 3 is the only news that I watch. They are great.

The above article says the winter weather advisory is “in effect from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. Monday.” What precisely does that mean? Would it not be clearer to say 12 noon or 12 midnight, and the am-pm confusion could be eliminated?
