(Sunnyvale, CA) There’s been another security breach.

This time, Internet giant Yahoo is the victim.

The company says usernames and passwords have been stolen and used to access email accounts.

Yahoo is not saying how many users are impacted.

The company says it’s resetting passwords to protect users.

I had to have Yahoo delete my account. I NEVER SIGN OUT…EVER.
About a year ago, I couldn’t get into my own account.
After “3” tries of changing the Password…the 3rd time being “37 characters long which included:
    Capital Letters
Small Case Letters; and in between each
    were numbers and symbols.

When they said, “Not Strong enough. Please give us your cell phone number and a photo of you………….

Every time Yahoo “updates & improves” their site my computer gets “sick.” Last year as they improved Yahoo Mail, twice, I had to take my computer to have viruses removed. The last time, I think it was in November, the geeks removed 1,005 viruses! I’ll tell you that really impressed the geeks! Scared the heck out of me.

Now they have been hacked. Wonderful (snark). For the past few years, Upaces88 has tried her best to get me to drop Yahoo… I’m not loyal to Yahoo .. more likely lazy. I’ve had my account with them for over 10 years, it’s easy and I remember it.

Personally? I don’t think it was hackers at all. I think it was Yahoo working for the Feds trying to get my phone number and Photo.
That is what really scared me!
