(Millington, TN) The Shelby County Bomb Squad was called to an area near the Millington Airport Wednesday morning.

We are told a man tried to access the airport saying President Obama was going to meet him there.

A security dog reportedly got a ‘hit’ that a briefcase the man was carrying may have explosives or explosive residue inside.

The man is in custody.

The bomb squad checked out the briefcase and found no explosives.

This happened near Navy Road and Singleton.

    @George Brown

    Did you you think to ask if the man was mentally ill or did you ask how many times this particular security dog has falsely alerted and caused someone to be searched illegally?

    There are other stories from just this one incident. Or are you just pulling words off of some sort of teletype and reprinting them here and attaching your name. Are you a reporter or a typist?

    I wonder if that was the same dog that couldn’t smell the oxycodone and morphine that was in my front pocket?
