Several Suburbs Approve Superintendent Contracts

(Shelby County) Arlington, Germantown, and Millington approved their superintendent contracts Monday.

Arlington’s superintendent contract is for three-and-a-half years.

Tammy Mason, the current Arlington High School principal, will be paid $143,000 annually.

Germantown now has a three-year deal with its first superintendent, Jason Manuel.

He will be paid $160,000 a year with mileage allowance of $400 per month.

Millington unanimously approved its superintendent contract.

Dr. David Roper was chosen last month as Millington’s first superintendent.

The contract is for three-and-a-half years, with an annual salary of $120,000.
