(Memphis) You think you have your work cut out for you assembling your child's new bike for Christmas?

Just imagine putting together more than a thousand bikes.

It took an army of volunteers at the Life Church two nights to piece together all the wheels, handle bars and seats on more than 1400 bikes.

When they were done, all the hallways, the auditorium, everything was full of bikes.

This is the second year the Life Church has adopted schools for Christmas.

This year the bikes are going to students at Kingsbury  and Wells Station Elementary schools in Memphis and an elementary school  in Jackson, TN.

That means every child will be getting his or her own set of wheels.

The shiny new bikes will show up at the schools Saturday.
