50th Anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s Assassination

It’s been fifty years, to the day, since that announcement.

President Obama has ordered flags be flown at half-staff today, on the anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination.

Special memorials are taking place in Dallas and D.C.

It’s a moment in history that still resonates so strongly with Americans.
