(Memphis) There are more police and security around one apartment complex in the airport area after two separate shootings in less than two weeks.

In one of those shootings at the Summit Park Apartments an 18-year-old is accused of opening fire inside an apartment and injuring three people.

Claude Boddie is now facing a slew of charges, including attempted first degree murder, assault, robbery and burglary.

Sunday, police say a group of people gathered outside an apartment were several people were gambling.

Investigators say someone from the apartment asked them to leave and that's when Boddie forced his way in, demanded money and started shooting.

One person was shot in the face, another in the leg and another in the arm.

A fourth victim was forced to jump out of a window to get away.

A woman, who didn't want to be identified, knows the man who was shot in the arm and is glad it wasn't worse.

"He's doing good. As far as I know, everybody is fine," said the woman.

Earlier this month, police responded to another shooting at the Summit Park Apartments.

The victims told police they were trying to drive out of the complex when a group of men pulled out guns and started firing at their vehicle.

Witnesses were able to give police the nicknames of some of the suspects, and so far one person has been arrested in that shooting.

Kevin McNeil has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault.
